well things were not that bad after all....i had a chance of roaming Lahore's street at 9 am...surprisingly the roads were empty with few travellers here and there. the good thing was most them have some thing on there vechile representing it was the independence day. what was not good was that i didn't saw all thoese flags on the roof tops. on my way to my native city Gujranwala i saw many people celeberating independence day by weraing green shirts...having flags on there bikes/veichles...ispite of all that there were no flags on the roof tops. in our local wapda town park people were having a picinic (thats the best people in gujranwala can get other than gulshan iqbal park)....In all despite of all the uncertainity and price hike there were still people who were enjoying the day as it ought to be....May Pakistan live forever...Pakistan Zindabad

I think the people of Pakistan have realized that despite winning independence 61 years ago, they still might have to fight again for their freedom.

Hmmm there can be numerous reasons for that. it may include political instability in the country.may be people have lot of other stuff to think about. may be governement is not so supportive this time..may be......

What ever it is, i don't like the feel of it.....i am still in the office and hope to go out on the road at 12 am(as that is the closing time)...i wish i could see the same old spirit.

Lets hope for some flicker of light around.

Though we haven't left much of Pakistan, the Pakistan that was anticipated and the one we've made out of it.
